My Mission

Travel should be accessible to everyone, not just the young and physically abled. I believe everyone should be able to travel and there’s a place just waiting for you to explore. Make the right preparations and arrangements, do it on your own schedule, and enjoy all that’s out there to see.

What to Expect from Me

I’ll share my adventures with you. When needed, I’ll show how easy, or difficult, a particular place is to get around. I have severe arthritis in my right ankle and on many days walking any distance is difficult for me. I’ll highlight ease of accessibility for all kinds of people. Traveling the world is much different than traveling around the United States. Being prepared and ready to make wise decisions concerning your travel activities will allow you to enjoy your experiences to the fullest.

A Bit of My Story

I graduated with a teaching degree (English) and then went on to teach English as a Second Language in the USA and China. That has really shaped me as a person. In addition to teaching older kids and adults, I’ve also worked in customer service, real estate, and a few other assorted positions throughout the years.

At this point in my life I feel like I should be more settled and ready to ease into retirement in the near future. That couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m still trying to figure things out, travel the world, and maneuver life as a physically limited person due to an ankle injury. I haven’t figured it all out yet and I’m not sure I ever will. That is part of my adventure.

On the Vltava River, Prague

There are so many places I want to see and I dream of travel nearly every single day. Regular life often gets in the way, as does my mobility, so I’m also exploring places close to home. This saves on expenses and teaches me more about the amazing area of New England I call home.

Creating this blog allows me to share my experiences, the good and the not-so-good, so you’re prepared when you travel. As a travel agent, I can also help find you the getaway of your dreams.
